-- In the NFL, there is the start of free agency in March, the draft in April, the June 1 cuts and finally trimming the roster to 53 players by Sept. 1. Each and every time there is a wave of players made available to NFL teams, the personnel people and the coaches have to scrutinize the list and be prepared to upgrade their own roster if possible.........
