I dunno, Drew...this may be in lieu of an extension.

"Thanks for not holding out" contract rework. Johnson will replace him next year, not enough money to go around for everyone and with his age and the fact we have a competent replacement on the roster it feels like a no brainer that it's him.

The Bills smartly threw him a treat.

He proved Thursday why he belongs here.

This would appear to be a parting gift.

Hope he plays great, gets a ring, and gets the money he is after. Probably will not be here though.

He got his bone.

Smart move all the way around!

Do we really have his replacement on the roster? I'm not expecting the Bills to strike it rich twice with another duo like Poyer and Hyde, but I don't think Hamlin and Johnson are long term solutions. I mean at least to this point. They haven't had much opportunity to prove themselves yet.

The big contract will definitely not come from here.

If Poyer wants to keep winning, he will stay in Buffalo for a while. I’m sure there’s room for a big deal next season, let’s see what happens before sending him away.

If he leaves after the season, can we keep his wife in Buffalo?

Is his replacement on the roster?

He is entering 1 year deal territory ala Jerry Hughes after this year. Working the Cap. Don't have him leaving yet. It's just an age, contract situation where the 1 year deal idea kicks in until he's done.

Nobody even knew who Jordan Poyer was before he came to Buffalo, he was a back-up depth player (except for his last 6 games in Cleveland) with a busted kidney and neck. Kudos to him and the team for growing into an all-pro here but I think the team will be able to find an adequate replacement. Safeties are big in this defense, maybe next year we see a high draft pick used on one.

Both would be awesome, but if she reamins here, I would love to be ALL IN!
