Fins looked good. I feel our D won't leave Hill wide open a few times and I feel our d line will make it harder for Tua to let those long routes develop but that was a good comeback against a playoff team.

Short week for the Bills, some key players are injured, and it's an away game. Should be a tough game, but the Bills are strong!

I hope not. There was that one play at the end of the first quarter where Tammy completed a pass where the WR ran a crossing route and they converted a 3 and 15.

I have 100% confidence we wont let Waddle or Hill get behind our safeties. But just like last year, we keep getting killed on these crossing patterns in the middle.

per Chiefs fans... the Dolphins game is our real test - our first real opponent. We have the refs in our pockets and is the NFL's darling.

WTF? The Bills haven't played anyone yet and the Dolphins are the "first real opponent"??? And just who the hell have the Chiefs played so far?

I just hope that the Bills stay focused with that killer instinct that Von Miller mentioned.

I would argue that playing the defending super bowl champs on the road, and the defending AFC #1 seed in prime time, should be considered tests.

Also, I'm happy the Dolphins are getting competitive again. Much more fun to hate them when they're not total doormats.

I hope the DBs are back healthy for this game, because they could quite possibly break the team record for INTs (6 vs NYJ in 2009) with the combination of our pass rush, and tuna's noodle arm.

Tua and Miami had one good quarter of football.

The Baltimore defense is not on the same planet as Buffalo’s.

It could be a tight game, that the Bills win, or it could be another blowout by the Bills.

Either way, the Bills are gong to win. Josh has Miami's number. The DOLPHINS have to PROVE they can keep with the Bills, not the other way around.

I like when they're OUR doormats for sure, don't get me wrong. I guess what I'm saying is that it's fun that they have reason to get their hopes up in advance of Josh dropping 40 on them. Much more psychologically satisfying than having them come in 0-2 and already looking at who's available at QB in the 2023 draft.

Interesting stat from your Historian:

Before the Bills won the 1980 opener, the series stood at 4-23-1 in favor of the fish.

After Levy retired, it stood at 25-41-1.

It currently sits at 54-61-1, with the Bills ahead 32-26 at home.

Playoffs 3-1 Buffalo.

Theoretically, we could take the all-time lead in the series in four years.

It should be a good game. Statistically, passing, rushing & receiving, the teams are almost equally matched. Defensively you guys have had the edge so far, cause you haven't allowed anybody to score much.

If it's a competitive game, the Fish will win. McD sucks in close games.

Last year, our smallest margin of victory was 12 points against the Pats.

Meanwhile, 5 of our 6 losses were by 7 points or less. Counting playoffs, 6 of 7 losses were by 7 points or less.

Beating the FINS this week is already a small whiff of separation from almost the entire field -- it is big to say we have arrived.

Tonight's game could be a dogfight. Not sure who to root for.

This reminds me of what Peter King said back in March this year about the Miami-Bills recent history (https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/03/28/nfl-overtime-rule-tyreek-hill-trade-fmia-peter-king/#comments)....

Factoidness

For those Miami fans revved up and thinking the Fins will be going toe-to-toe with the Bills for AFC East supremacy this year, I bring you this factoid:

Buffalo and Miami met three times in calendar year 2021 (including the final game of the 2020 season on Jan. 3, 2021). The Bills won by 30, 35 and 15 points, an average of 26.7 points per game.

Maybe Tyreek Hill can add four touchdowns a game against the Bills.

Pretty sure Mr. King wrote this with a little smirk on his face. :D:
