No.. Dorsey had just left Carolina when Tepper bought the Panthers

No connection to Tepper, but he is connected very closely with Dan Morgan who is their Asst GM.

They played together in college and Morgan worked here before moving on to Carolina.

Tepper is another Pittsburgh guy, even have a Tepper business school in CMU named after him (money talks!). I don't know him but heard that he's one of those who's more on the control side of things. Was a minority owner of the Steelers and wanted more voice in decisions within the Steelers organization. Well the result is he's out of there and bought the Panthers. I feel he'll have the biggest say in the HC hire, just like he did on the Rhule hire.

Just speculating here, but if I was an owner of a franchise whose been bad my entire tenure I’d be looking to make a splashy hire. That would either be by bringing in a known big name or getting the one that got away. I have to imagine there are plenty of Panthers fans watching the Bills offense thinking about Dorsey as the one who got away.

Not sure how much interest Dorsey would have in that job, but with the way our offense is scoring he’ll be among the hottest names in the coaching market this off-season.

Baker Mayfield is really bringing that franchise down. So glad about the single best thing that Beane has ever done: drafting Allen over Mayfield, Darnold or Rosen.

Well Beane is not given an option on Mayfield and Darnold, right? So his choice is pretty much Allen or Rosen. Lamar was dissed by everyone - even the Ravens didn't use their original first round pick on him.
