The good news is they added a Hide Scores option on their smart TV app (but I couldn't find the same settings on my iPad).
The bad news is that they don't have a Start from Beginning option, so if you log in during the game, you have to start live and rewind, which means you're most likely going to see the score, completely negating the Hide Scores option.
To make matters worse, you have to rewind to the beginning, but for some unknown reason, the broadcast starts roughly an hour early, so it's an hour of just commercials for other ESPN programming with a "Live Event Starting Soon!" message. And, the progress bar for ffwd/rewind hides itself after a few seconds, so it's impossible to tell how far forward or back you've gone. It's the worst streaming service I've ever experienced.
I'll be really pissed if they get the NFL contract. I'm thinking of cancelling ESPN+ and just getting Center Ice, even though it costs more.
