I don't think Smith has counted as a spot, and they would have to release somebody else to accommodate him. Somebody will need to be let go when Tre' is activated.

So if Smith clears waivers we can sign him to the PS from what I've read.

So who will it be if we decide to activate Tre?

Maybe we make a trade? (Moss anybody)

I think that when Tre is placed on the active roster then Cam Lewis will be cut.

It might be Spencer Brown going on IR that opens a spot for Tre. Hopefully his ankle injury isn't that serious, so if they have to cut someone to clear a spot for Tre, I would guess CB Cam Lewis. Or maybe Hodgins if they want to stay deeper at CB.

Interesting but i'd have to admit none of those choices are good.

I forgot that Ja'Marcus Ingram is still on the roster. He might cut instead of Lewis.

Ingram was released on 10/10 and re-signed to PS on 10/11. I don't think he's an option to clear a spot.

Probably. I hope they shift him to S to replace Hyde.

There were talk about Benford, in the long term, might be best fit to be a free safety. He's rookie, with very little leverage, so they could shift him there now. But I do see there is no reason he wants to do that. DBs are paid a lot more than Safeties and he knows he CAN play DB.
