All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Buffalo Bills’ new $1.4B stadium won’t seek LEED certification
The stadium won't be as green or sustainable as it could be.
How much green does it take to go green?
The Buffalo Bills’ new $1.4 billion stadium will have lots of blue and red, sure, but it won’t be as green or sustainable as it could be, according to the Investigative Post. Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz said that the stadium will not seek LEED certification because it’s too expensive.
“It breaks your heart when someone leaves and you don’t know why.”
"It may be raining but there's a rainbow above you" Former President Donald Trump early Thursday touted the results of a new NPR/PBSNewsHour/Marist pollshowing him ahead of President Joe Biden by 8 percentage points among independents.
Re: Buffalo Bills’ new $1.4B stadium won’t seek LEED certification
The reality is the Bills are building a cheaper stadium in part because of the opposition to spending money for WNY by the rest of the state. Around eastern NY, you'd think that the Bills are the 1st team ever to get public money to build a stadium. The newspapers in Albany & NYC have been crying like stuck pigs ever since the deal was announced. Zeldin is sending out campaign literature saying Hochul is corrupt because her husband's company has the current concession deal, even though they have not been granted the concessions at the new stadium, which will be up for bids.
I've seen so much opposition to the stadium deal at this end of the state that we're lucky to be getting any stadium at all. Most of eastern NYS doesn't give a damn about anything done in WNY and wants all the money sent to NYC & Albany.
