RIP Walt Corey - DC during our SB Years

Age 84 - Close friend of Marv. Pretty good LB for KC during the old AFL days.

    RIP Walt

Former President Donald Trump early Thursday touted the results of a new NPR/PBSNewsHour/Marist poll showing him ahead of President Joe Biden by 8 percentage points among independents.

RIP indeed. I was horrified when they hired Levy, and he hired Corey, wth were they doing ?

Corey's defense had a knack for the moment. The timely plays you hoped for but couldn't expect. The Bills offense got all the glory, but Corey had his guys in the right place at the right time, with the right focus, to win and close games. I will ever remember him as a major part of the success for his quiet competence in the chess game of football, when that success was critical in the big moments.

It got worse as we went, we kept fueling the offense with talent, and just counted on Corey to keep pace. Came a time he couldn't. No harm no foul, he was instrumental to what we did when we did it, and I will ever appreciate him.

I liked the guy, and even met him once, but he was a crappy coordinator.

There's a reason he was replaced by Wade.
