Can’t believe no one did this before but can’t undo the past. Glad it is finally happening for him.

98 years old? Poor guy will probably die of hypothermia on November 13, unless they host him in a heated box.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

What position will he be playing?

I hope he does not get hurt.

            Hope not.

            I'll be at that game.

            Vikes.

I didn't know until I went to the Washington game last year that its a regular feature. (and apparently the Sabres games) I didn't know what was happening when all of the sudden, the entire crowd stood up and began cheering. Then I saw the guy on the big screen on the field, waving to the fans and heard the narrative. Fans stayed standing and cheering for the minute and a half or so while the narrative of his life was being told.

To me, its a cool cool gesture. You take someone who is in the twilight of their life, obviously don't get around like they used to, most of their loved ones have probably passed. And then you put them on the field in a stadium where 75000 people are standing and cheering for them.

Im usually surprised when I hear someone that age had never been to a game. When we were going to the Washington game, my mother in law wanted to go. I didn't know until we were at the stadium that this was her first BIlls game.
