Balls

Not many for a win. 2nd half was the ****tiest half of the season. Looked like they assumed it was over.

Singletary

Run blocking

Settle

Goats.
Letting the packers smack talk get under our skin and affect our play. That was obviously part of the Packers game plan. That can never happen again.

Second half Josh. Who the hell was that in #17 uniform?

Run defense

Big goat for letting Packers get under their skin. Defense against the run. Allen was bad in the second half.

I guess a ball for Singletary and run blocking.

Gabe was a ****ing dog tonight.

Drops, chirping all night and mixing it up. Alexander was in his head. Homie, play ball, that will do the talking for you.

Just a **** half a football, disgusting to watch that half. Dumb ass ****, these guys are feeling themselves at times.

Instead of pushing Alexander in the back Davis could have walked by and said look at the scoreboard. He gets a goat too.

This and another goat would be the crowd especially the second half. I think I even heard a let’s go pac chant, really?

Goats: play calling…yet again abandoning the run AFTER they proved they could run against the Pack

Balls: Motor/Josh’ legs/James Cook running the ball at will when they actually were allowed to run

I hate to say it, but it was a chicken-**** move to boot.

Balls-- 1st half team

Goats-- 2nd half team

Gabe gets a goat for being a child.

Game should've been 37-17, maybe more. Josh was off in the 2nd half, the first pick was stupid. The second one, it looked like he was throwing it away, and the defender went down and scooped it. Still, throw that through the back of the endzone if you are throwing it away.

This might've been the worst half the team has played all year, and they won, easily. 6-1. Big divisional tilt vs the Jets Sunday, with a chance to bury them early. No stupid cheap crap next week, be disciplined and shut out all the noise from the Jet mouthpieces.

Balls:

Milano. He is a beast when healthy.

Goats:

Allen
Davis
Von
McKenzie
Dorsey. How many times does your running back have to get dropped for a five yard loss on first down before you try something else?
Whoever the hell kept running the kickoffs out.

As a matter of fact....Big goat to the entire organization. Most teams use the BYE week to get healthy and rekindle their passion for the game. In true Buffalo fashion, the Bills come off it lazy and sloppy. They took the bait several times and as in any sport, the guy who retaliates gets the penalty.

And don't think it gets any better next week because the Jets have been the dirtiest team in the NFL since the merger.

Pay Oliver means we don't pay somebody else.

I usually stay away from the “balls and goats” thread because the too many of the knee jerk reactions don’t hold up.

But, this was just too absurd to ignore....

Edmunds

McDermott and crew have a ton of work to do this week.

Giving Tremaine Edmunds a “goat” is the epitome of not credible baloney. He had an OUTSTANDING game in his OUTSTANDING season.

But, I’ll let this do the talking....

One Stat Recap: Tremaine Edmunds leads defense in stout outing
A truly savage performance (https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2022/11/1/23433123/bills-packers-recap-tremaine-edmunds-nfl-solo-tackle-single-game-leaders)

It was not the prettiest game, but the Buffalo Bills (https://www.buffalorumblings.com/) still managed to beat the Green Bay Packers (https://www.acmepackingcompany.com/)by double digits on Sunday Night Football. A lot of that was due to a strong performance from the defense, which started with their leader—linebacker Tremaine Edmunds.

Edmunds was all over the field Sunday night, racking up 16 total tackles, 13 solo and three assisted. Those 13 solo tackles tied for second most by Bill since at least 1994 (https://stathead.com/tiny/xWPme) (that’s as far back as consistent tackle data goes). He finished second to London Fletcher’s 15 solo tackles against the New York Jets (https://www.ganggreennation.com/) in October 2004. Fletcher, Leodis McKelvin, and Da’Norris Searcy have also notched 13 solo tackle games. Looking outside of the Bills’ franchise books, Edmunds is the fourth player this season to record 13 solo tackles. The Denver Broncos (https://www.milehighreport.com/)’ Alex Singleton holds the current 2022 high score at 19 solo tackles.

With safety Micah Hyde already on Injured Reserve and safety Jordan Poyer exiting the Packers game late with another injury to his elbow, it will be imperative that Edmunds continues putting up performances like he did on Sunday. It will also help his bank account, as Edmunds is set to become a free agent at the end of the season.

And it was not just the eye popping stat of 16 tackles (13 solo), for comparison sake Matt Milano had 5 total tackles (all solo), Edmunds WAS all over the field and showed his quickness, speed and tenacity.

He did a fantastic job on pass coverage as well, tipping the ball on one play that Milano could have intercepted.

I don’t know what game you were watching, but make sure you take off your “anti-Edmunds bias” glasses in the future.
