Poyer was active against the Kansas City Chiefs (https://www.arrowheadpride.com/) after he took a van to Arrowhead Stadium when he wasn’t cleared to fly due to pneumothorax.

Now, Poyer is back to being sidelined with the elbow injury. No specific play was seen in which Poyer was injured or aggravated a possible lingering injury to his elbow.

He said he heard a 'pop' while making a tackle on the sideline.

Does he wear one of those big arm braces? I can't remember, but I don't recall that he does.

Milano is day to day also. Might not see either of them against the Jets.

If they're not ready it's next man up.

Milano has been playing his ass off.

I wouldn't mind if they just put him on IR and bring him back in December to get ready for the playoffs. It seems like he's been dealing with the elbow all season and has had the rib/lung issue recently too.

I just saw on the book of faces that Poyer has already been ruled out this week vs the Jets? Anyone confirm this?

Poyer’s injury could potentially be something more serious, as after the game, the safety himself said it didn’t feel the same as the earlier injury—though his day-to-day designation to start the week could indicate that it’s not considered a long-term issue.

So Von is listed as an ankle injury? That’s it… no pass rush. Bills lose by 14.

Bills linebacker Von Miller (https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/football/nfl/player/2329/von-miller) didn’t practice on Wednesday, but it wasn’t a headline because the Bills listed him as taking a veteran rest day.
Miller remained out of practice on Thursday and this absence is likely to draw a little more notice. Miller was listed with an ankle injury along with the resting veteran notation on the second injury report of the week.

Looks like Poyer is is showing his age with these constant injuries, being called out for the Jets game....now missing over a third of this season’s games.

With Hyde out since week #3, and the Bills still having one of the best defenses in the NFL, STILL the #1 in points allowed, and STILL in the top 10 pass defenses (#9 in YDS/G allowed at 203.1....9 yards per game out of #6, Tampa Bay with 194 YDS/G) and without All-Pro Tre’ White, is a testament to the superior defensive TEAM the Bills have with strong depth.

Leslie Frazier keeps on proving to be one of the best defense minds in the NFL.

Overhauled D-Line that provides pressure without blitzing, one of the best pair of LB’s in the NFL with both Milano and Edmunds having an OUTSTANDING season, and depth at CB with the young guys coming through with very capable performances....this defense is stellar.

It’s obvious that the Hyde/Poyer S tandem is probably going to be broken up after this year.

Injury roundup: Jets RB James Robinson (knee) a game-time decision vs. Bills after late addition to injury report

Buffalo Bills linebacker Matt Milano (https://www.nfl.com/players/matt-milano/) (oblique) is likely to be out versus the Jets (https://www.nfl.com/games/bills-at-jets-2022-reg-9?active-tab=watch), Rapoport and NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo reported. Rookie Terrel Bernard (https://www.nfl.com/players/terrel-bernard/) is slated to start in Milano's place, they added.

The 17 game schedule is not a good idea IMO.

Most players would probably agree.

Josh Allen officially listed as DNP on Wednesday

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/11/09/josh-allen-officially-listed-as-dnp-on-wednesday/

The Bills have released their practice report for Wednesday, and quarterback Josh Allen officially was a non-participant.

Bills coach Sean McDermott announced before practice that Allen would spend the day rehabbing. McDermott calls Allen “day to day.”

Allen injured his right elbow late in Sunday’s loss to the Jets when defensive lineman Bryce Huff (https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/football/nfl/player/60782/bryce-huff) hit Allen’s throwing arm. Allen has an injury to the ulnar collateral ligament and related nerves.

As a rookie, he missed four games with an injury to the UCL in his right elbow. Allen has not missed a game since.

Case Keenum (https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/football/nfl/player/2375/case-keenum) took the first-team reps Wednesday and will play if Allen can’t go Sunday against the Vikings.

Middle linebacker Tremaine Edmunds (https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/football/nfl/player/915/tremaine-edmunds) (groin/heel), outside linebacker Von Miller (https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/football/nfl/player/2329/von-miller) (rest), free safety Jordan Poyer (https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/football/nfl/player/861/jordan-poyer) (elbow), defensive end Greg Rousseau (https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/football/nfl/player/63771/gregory-rousseau) (ankle) and offensive guard Rodger Saffold (https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/football/nfl/player/9203/rodger-saffold) (rest/back) also missed practice.
