As the trade deadline approaches, the Browns have softened on their refusal to trade running back Kareem Hunt (https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/football/nfl/player/8823/kareem-hunt) — and, more importantly, on their expected return for him.

We recently reported that the Browns were looking for a Christian McCaffrey-style package (https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/10/26/kareem-hunt-trade-possibilities-could-hinge-on-monday-nights-outcome/) for Hunt, who launched a short (and ill-fated) hold-in during training camp with a request to be dealt. But hoping for something like a two, three, four, and five wasn’t going to get it done, especially after the Jaguars got only a sixth-round pick that can upgrade to a fifth-rounder for running back James Robinson (https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/football/nfl/player/58470/james-robinson). Adam Schefter of ESPN now reports that the Browns will take a fourth-rounder for Hunt (https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/34904508/sources-browns-willing-grant-kareem-hunt-trade-request).

Which means they'd take a 5th rounder.

Bills have an extra 5th rounder in 2023 from the Cards for Cody Ford.

I'm pretty sure they cut him for lying about it. Not the incident itself. Hill still had a job with that team.

The “missing piece” was filled by Von Miller.

Kicking a women is inexcusable. I don’t give a crap if it was when he was 23.

If Beane thinks Hunt would help the team and the cost is reasonable, who am I to doubt the professional who has done a fantastic job of building a great team with players of quality character.

But, that does not prevent that I think trading for him is a bad, bad idea.

The better target is Josh Jacobs. With Vegas in the tank, it night be a great time to swoop in.

It’s obvious that Zack Moss is done here, as Cook has leapfrogged by him on the depth chart.

I have no interest in the dude, and KC evidently doesn't either. If Beane does, well that's up to him. I remember the video, it's not acceptable.
