Case Keenum possibly vs his previous team
James Cook vs his brother Dalvin
Diggs returning and playing with Jefferson who he essentially was traded for
Fraziers vs his old team that he was the HC

I find this matchup interesting just with all the commonality of the players

I hope we can avoid that 1st storyline.

I don't think Allen even stepped outside today, he stayed in the field house/facilities.

Wouldn't surprise me if he's shelved until December.

The Bills have released their practice report for Wednesday, and quarterback Josh Allen officially was a non-participant.

Bills coach Sean McDermott announced before practice that Allen would spend the day rehabbing. McDermott calls Allen “day to day.”

Allen injured his right elbow late in Sunday’s loss to the Jets when defensive lineman Bryce Huff (https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/football/nfl/player/60782/bryce-huff) hit Allen’s throwing arm. Allen has an injury to the ulnar collateral ligament and related nerves.
As a rookie, he missed four games with an injury to the UCL in his right elbow. Allen has not missed a game since.

Case Keenum (https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/football/nfl/player/2375/case-keenum) took the first-team reps Wednesday and will play if Allen can’t go Sunday against the Vikings.

Middle linebacker Tremaine Edmunds (https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/football/nfl/player/915/tremaine-edmunds) (groin/heel), outside linebacker Von Miller (https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/football/nfl/player/2329/von-miller) (rest), free safety Jordan Poyer (https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/football/nfl/player/861/jordan-poyer) (elbow), defensive end Greg Rousseau (https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/football/nfl/player/63771/gregory-rousseau) (ankle) and offensive guard Rodger Saffold (https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/football/nfl/player/9203/rodger-saffold) (rest/back) also missed practice.

Maybe.

It would not surprise me if he plays Sunday either.

For the record, I do not believe that Allen NOT playing will change the results of the game. The Bills are going to win Sunday.

Keenum is an experienced QB and has been in big games before. He’s not going to get flustered, knows the offense and, although certainly not Josh Allen, can and I think will bring a stabilizing demeanor into the huddle.....playing like Allen SHOULD play sometimes, but doesn’t....

Taking what the defense gives you....not trying to be a hero.....not doing too much.....not taking chances.

Josh’s issues the past 6 quarters was his reverting back to his younger days.....doing stupid stuff....forgoing the easy lay up check off instead of gambling with dumb throws (which many times DO work) but many times puts the team in a hole (really dumb INT that gave the Jets the ball at the Bills 19 yards line, handing them the lead that they never gave up) , or worse yet, losing obvious scoring chances (first drive of the day 2nd down at the Jets 13, stupid INT)

The other factor is the “Circle the Wagons” mentality.

After a bad loss, coming back home. Your leader is hurt. The whole team will be fired up to show the world that they have (Keenum's) and Josh’s back.

The defense will be anxious to show the world that they can and will lead a BIG win against a tough opponent.

Like all of us, I would rather have a healthy Josh Allen doing Josh Allen’ing stuff on the field. But, maybe sitting a week or two and seeing the TEAM still winning games, it could be the kind of impetus that spurs a team on to greatness.

Yeah....lots of interesting storylines.

As Chris Berman’s famous saying.....”Nobody circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills"

Tremaine Edmunds hurt his groin running over to pat the tackler's on the butt after the play?

This made me laugh....

The best storyline is when they meet in the Super Bowl.

Diggs vs former team.
Both teams 0-4 in Super Bowls. Who will win their first?
Cook vs. Cook. Who does mom root for?
Best of all.
This time they have Josh.

Except Minny is not going to the Super Bowl.

Opie is milking this for all its worth....as he should.
