All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
The Patriots offense has enough struggles without defenses knowing plays ahead of time
Once he's the master, now someone else took over the top.
I had that feeling in Bills/Jets game. Whatever Bills wanted to do, Jets seemed to be on it. If it weren't for Allen's running ability --- let's say Keenum was in, the game could be far far worse. Maybe Dorsey needs to do some self scouting on offense. That's an area I feel Daboll would bea leg up on Dorsey, being there going through all the "cheat ways" Belichick used to do.

So, opponents knew the plays because Patriots players were broadcasting them. Fair enough.
But, it made me think of something: What if the punishment for cheating is that other teams are allowed to use that same method of cheating against you for the next year?
So, Belicheck gets caught stealing signals? Well, for the next year, stealing signals from the Patriots is not against the rules.
Realistically, there would be no way to enforce it, but it would be the perfect punishment.

There are keys everybody exploits them.

This has to be Bellichick's worst coaching job of his career. He had the same offense for 21 years and went to 13 AFCCG's, 9 SB's and won 6. So Josh McDaniels leaves and he decides to scrap that offense. He tries to install new zone run plays in camp and the offense is putrid. It continues to suck in preseason. Now he's scrapped that but their offense still sucks. Way worse than last year. He has Matt Patricia who is a defensive guy as both the play caller and OL coach. Looks like he's failing badly at both. Their OL is in shambles. And now it appears they're either so predictable or they have tells that the other team's D is calling out their plays at the line.
They're 5-4 and they've faced the 31st ranked defenses in the league. Now their schedule gets much harder. Their QB that looked pretty good last year but he's taken 2 giant steps backward. IMO their season is over and they blow chunks. Their only hope is Josh McDaniels gets fired and they bring him back to try to raise the Titanic. Nobody feels sorry for Bill. Their offense looked like a disaster before the season and guess what...it is. Funny thing but they probably have better talent overall this year than last. If they lose at home to the Jets after their bye this week they may not win another game.

He didn't look that great last year but the team played great. Jones was able to pull out some consistent chunk plays that kept them going a lot. He's been shut down. They really blew it with the QB situation in the off-season.
