In the modern era of ‘great’ bills teams (which I count from 2020 to the present)

there has been a persistent pattern in the first 2 and a half years

a red hot start
2020: 4-0
2021: 4-1
2022: 5-1

a relative stumbling middle
2020: 3-3
2021: 3-5
2022: 1-2 ??

and an even Hotter finish
2020: 6-0 (plus 2-1 playoffs)
2021: 4-0 (plus 1-1 playoffs)
2022: TBD

Maybe this slump will be less ‘bad’ than the previous two and the home field and all that can still be salvaged if they get their heads out of their asses? (And I know it’s a big if)

Lately in the nfl, (the last two years In particular) the super bowl winner has been left for dead around this time to shock the world and win the whole thing

As angry as I am right now, and as much flack as we have given the staff (rightfully so) history has taught us that they tend to finish very strong
let’s start sunday

go bills!

True story.

But one would think that a team that focuses so much on learning from their losses and getting better moving forward would have figured it out after the first two seasons and avoided it this year.
