And the weather isn't an issue and you regionalize the franchise the WNY Buffalos. It's so simple and obvious it boggles the mind. No, let's spend a 1+ billion $ stadium next to a well know lake Erie event that doesn't suite our lineup rather than being intelligent.

Nah just real with some common sense. NE became New England instead of Boston. We can become WNY instead of Buffalo yet keep the name and identity.

This kind of snow fall happens, what, once every 10-20 years?

The last time it happened was 2014. I don't ever recall it happening before then, at least not to the point that they physically moved the game somewhere else, or even to another date.

They're never moving the Bills to Pembroke.

Ridiculous.

A 10 minute further drive from downtown Buffalo to One Bills Dr, and a 30 minute less of a drive from downtown Rochester.

Six Flags Darien Lake is nearby .... does that help?

Halfway to Batavia

Batavia is half way to Darien Lake from Brockport.

That halfway stuff does go both ways.

Exit 48a I believe.

Or route 33 through Batavia.

You think that's why Peg isn't building a dome?

For those who weren’t around awhile back, there was serious talk about building a new stadium in the Pembroke/Batavia area. Not sure the demographics now but back in the late 1990’s early 2000’s about 40% of the season ticket we’re from Rochester and points east. There was WAY more money in Rochester than the Buffalo area.
Been out of NYS for almost 10 years so I don’t know what’s going on in either areas.

Not sure "1st and 10 western New York" has a nice ring to it. It think we'll stay the Buffalo Bills. If it ain't Pembroke, don't fix it.

The dome would have cost 2.5B or thereabouts instead of 1.4. That would have meant Peg would have had to cough up a lot more money. Very clear from the negotiations he was going for the bare minimum investment and let the state/county/NFL pick up the lions share of the tab. That's the reason. I'll bet Peg has never watched a Bills game in the elements. Ever. Climate controlled luxury box for him.

Wouldn’t you if you had his money?

Wouldn't I what? Sit in a box or be stingy about the stadium? Sit in a box yes, be stingy no. Peg's net worth went up over a billion IN THE LAST YEAR. He could've afforded a dome. IMO a dome makes sense for the climate. You could make it retractable.
