They were down to a league-low $332K before this move due to the toll of injury replacement costs and the acquisition of Nyheim Hines.</p>&mdash; Sal Capaccio 🏈 (@SalSports) <a href="https://twitter.com/SalSports/status/1597979605386022912?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">November 30, 2022</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

We needed the cap space and it's a great boost to White as we show our appreciation.

Excellent move !

Grrr... this is probably to make room for OBJ.

But it's not surprising to me that the team was willing to restructure. First, we clearly need the cap space. Second, we've seen how bad our backup DB's are. We need to keep the starters happy.

Is 2 million enough for OBJ??

Good question, but, he's coming off a major injury, and if it happens, it won't happen in time for the Pats game, so he'd be playing at most 5 games plus playoffs. Would he sign for $2 mill for a full season? Probably not. $2 million for 5 games? Maybe. It would give him a chance to prove himself on an offensive team with a good QB to hopefully get a new contract in the offseason.

Everything I’ve read is he’s looking for a multi year contract. They can add money to the second and hopefully not the third year.

Given the number of FA's we have and the fact that we have good WR's, giving OBJ a multi year deal would be a mistake.

I agree, I think it will be the rest of this year and one more.

The whole OBJ saga has had an effect on our roster the entire season ... and it's probably a mistake as a whole.

If he’s ready to go and I don’t see any team signing this year unless he is and he can be close to what he was last year I’m in. Haven’t heard much more on the plane incident.

That’s why I said “if”

I'd rather have OBJ than have him on the Cowboys. Good chance we see the Cowboys in the Super Bowl.

That’s my thinking, if he ready and the Bills won’t sign him unless he is. I don’t want him going to someone we might have to face!

With only 5 games left I don't think he's going to make that much this season.
