All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
The last couple of drives, he gutted out there. Towards the end, he's really just a body out there, being knocked down by much smaller defenders. But he knew the situation, risked further injury to come back onto the field.
Someone mentioned he might have played the entire game with his ankle injury. Shout out to the dude.
He's not perfect but damn he gave us everything thing he had and some.
“It breaks your heart when someone leaves and you don’t know why.”
"It may be raining but there's a rainbow above you" Former President Donald Trump early Thursday touted the results of a new NPR/PBSNewsHour/Marist pollshowing him ahead of President Joe Biden by 8 percentage points among independents.
I suppose, but why did the coaches even put him out there?
He wasnt effective, and was a turnstile all game. Could have put in anyone else to have NE DEs run around, run through, etc... and it wouldnt have changed anything
Why does he deserve a shout out? He flat out STUNK. He fell on his ass multiple times whilst trying to get into his stance. He should not have been on the field, and was the direct cause of Allen getting smoked from behind, among multiple other whiffs.
I'll give him props for toughness but he SUCKED. I know Dawkins was hurt and the OL was thin going into the game, but it's really bad if there is no one better than injured Quessenberry to put on the field.
We've got 10 days until the next game- maybe we can nab someone off a practice squad? They cleared cap space with the White restructuring, and I can't imagine that on the other 31 practice squads, there isn't one OT who's at least equal and uninjured, if not better.

He deserves a shout out because he should not have been on the field and sucked it up.
Seriously, that man knew how limited he was and what his physical condition was. He knew it was an opportunity to support the teams efforts and that's exactly what he did despite the impending backlash from doucebags about his 'sucking'.

Hopefully Dawkins we’ll be back and if not maybe OBJ can play tackle!
Even if Dawkins is back, hopefully we grab someone because there's no guarantee we won't have another injury at tackle.
The more likely approach is exactly what they did last night: Allen had 33 drop backs and 8 carries. Cook/Singletary/Hines had a combined 29 carries. Almost a 4 to 3 ratio. If the running backs can be effective, less demand on Allen in drop backs. And it should open up doors for play-action, which is not really featured that much yesterday.
No RPO yesterday.
I think that's the way to go instead of raiding practice squads for pass-pros.
Anyone noticed that yesterday is the least Allen centric offense the Bills run this year? Heck they even converted 3rd and 1s without Allen, a touchdown on 3rd and 1. Allen made 1 or 2 "wow" throws, that's it.
Quessenberry did not play well, but I'll cut him some slack since you could tell his ankle was really bothering him about 3 plays in. I think Quessenberry is a better RT than LT and he's a better run blocker than pass blocker, so having him fill in at LT isn't ideal. Hopefully Dawkins gets healthy quick and stays healthy. The Jets and Fins both have good DLs and pass rush.

Yup... noticed that. I think that had something to do with building his confidence up as well. He hasnt been spectacular since the bye week, and all the poor performances and picks - you could almost tell he was lacking any confidence at this point.
It's a smart plan by Dorsey... need to get Allen back to playing like an MVP for the playoffs. Have a balanced team is great, but come playoff time, we need a difference maker at QB
