The Jets will be without one of their young offensive linemen for the rest of the season.

Head coach Robert Saleh announced in his Wednesday press conference that Max Mitchell (https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/football/nfl/player/67683/max-mitchell) will be placed on the non-football injury list and is out for the year.

Saleh declined to say what happened to Mitchell.

A fourth-round pick in the 2022 draft, Mitchell appeared in six games with five starts as a rookie.

Milano is dealing with a knee injury and another missed practice on Friday won’t bode well for his chances of playing against the Jets.

The only game Milano has missed this season is the first Jets game. Terrel Bernard started in his place and he did not play well, so this is disappointing. I didn't even know he hurt his knee until I saw the report. I don't remember him leaving the Pats game.

The only game Milano has missed this season is the first Jets game. Terrel Bernard started in his place and he did not play well, so this is disappointing. I didn't even know he hurt his knee until I saw the report. I don't remember him leaving the Pats game.
