Miami was also a former team. I hope Jordan Phillips can go because he also played for them.

Shaq Lawson has really pleasantly surprised me.

I'm hoping Jordan Phillips can be 100% ready for the rematch.

They've both played far better with the Bills than the other teams they've been with.

It is not about whether they played for their former team; it is about how they were treated.

Bills were both's former team. But they left Bills with bigger dollars. No harm no foul. Shaq was traded by the Dolphins to Houston, then traded again to the Jets. Again I don't think he has issues. But when the Jets cut him before the last game last year - according to him on the Friday before the game with no other indications, well then ... I don't know the details, but I'll bet everything I have that money is at the center of the reason.

Philips hold a grudge against the Dolphins when they released him mid-season. But that was against a different coaching staff, though the GM is still there. Frankly I do see Philips issue, maybe what the Dolphins coaching staff saw back then, is his inconsistency. The guy shows flashes, borderline dominant at times. It is just few and far in between. Philips said only the Bills allowed him to be him. However, it seems to me that there has to be some rein and motivation to get the best out of him CONSISTENTLY.

It's a long season. I'm excited to see what this D line can do in the playoffs, even without Von.

He seems even more fired up...

The loss of Von has lit a fire in everybody's pants !!

A negative can always become a positive !!

I've been impressed with Lawson's play this year. He doesn't have gawdy stats or anything that jumps out at you, but he has been nothing short of spectacular vs the run, when he's in there, and he does have 3.5 sacks

We never got the expected sacks while he was here the 1st time around BUT I do remember he was pretty damn good against the run and now he's even better.

Agreed.

Kinda reminds me of when Levy brought in Art Still.
