All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Just a question. I was looking at the divisions and its sort of weird that Houston-Tennessee-Jacksonville are in a division while buffalo, Ny, and boston(NE), are in a division with miami in the east and Indi is in the "south"
When they moved indi to the south, why didnt they instead move miami there to make the locations make sense?
Not here to be right, just here to have interesting discussions about my impulsive opinions
Re: Why is miami in the east and Indi in the south?
Miami was given the opportunity to choose when the realignment happened and chose to stay in the AFC East due to the rivalries. They probably figured that the only time they could fill their stadium is when the Bills or Jets came to town

That’s your question? I mean, every team in the AFC North is south of the Bills, Jets and Patriots, and the Ravens are east of the Bills, but the Bills are in the East.
And that’s just the start. Dallas is in the NFCE but Atlanta, Carolina, Detroit, NO and Tampa are east of Dallas.
it has everything to do with rivalries and nothing to do with actual geography.

Exactly. If it was strictly geographical it would be something like
Re: Why is miami in the east and Indi in the south?
And we worry about Miami being in the East and Indi in the South.
