All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Fans went from “bills can’t win close games” saying they would never win a super bowl because of it.
Are the same fans saying bills won’t win a super bowl … because of close games… they win.
A win in a win the nfl. Wins like this Almsot mean more than blow outs.
It was PRIMARILY the talking heads that started that narrative. MOST fans want their teams to win by double digits.

The biggest thing we learned from the Bills is that they are a resilient bunch and did what they had to do to win instead of past years where they fold like a cheap lawn chair.

I would love a few more of those myself

11-3 and people think we're not contenders for the Superbowl.. Sure we may not win the lombardi this year, but so won't 31 other teams.
Just enjoy the season and don't let the Eeyore's of the world affect your mood.
If we don't one of those 31 other teams will ... but I get your sentiment.
Enjoy the ride Bills fans !!

Re: Fans who complained bills don’t win close games
Not only did the Bills prove they CAN win close games, they did it in a way that championship teams do.
After a stellar play by Miami’s stud pass rusher Jean Phillips with a strip sack at the start of the 4th quarter giving the ball to Miami at the Bills 47, the Bills defense stiffens and holds the Fins to a FG, with a sensational play by Taron Johnson stopping Smythe for a 2 yard loss, on third and one at the Bills 27 yard line.
It held the Fins to only an eight point lead instead of a much more dire twelve points.
Then the pressure packed drive, MUST sorry a TD, highlighted by the Allen 44 yard run for a TD and another amazing play by JA for the 2 point conversion to tie it up, with 9:02 left in the game.
Then, with Miami getting the ball after the ensuing kickoff, and after giving up a couple of long pass plays, putting Miami at the Bills 41, they stiffen AGAIN, and force a punt with 6:04 left.
Then, the drive of the season.....after being pinned at the Bills 7 yard line, a signature drive of 15 plays eating up the clock and kicking the winning FG with no time left.
Keeping the ball out of Miami’s hands was absolutely stunning!!!! The Bills did what they had to do to beat a quality opponent.
On top of that reality, the Buffalo Bills have NOT lost a game to a “bad“ team.
KC lost to woeful Indy, 20-17 when Indy was 0-1-1.
Cincy lost to the Browns, 32-13 when Cleveland’s record was 2-5.
Philly lost to Washington 32-21 when Washington's record was 4-5.
SanFran lost to Atlanta, 28-14 when Atlanta’s record was 2-3.
Dallas lost to Green Bay, 31-28 when GB’s record was 3-6.
And the Bills beat FOUR quality teams, in close games, at the end.
Baltimore by three....very similar to what they did to Miami....long drive eating up the last four minutes of the game, keeping the ball out of the Raven’s hands.
KC by four....long drive getting the ball with 5:31 left, trailing by three points, eating up clock and scoring a TD with 1:04 left in the game, and then sealing the win with a big time INT.
Detroit by three (and YES, Detroit was a “quality team” when the Bills beat them One of the hottest teams in the NFL in the middle of winning five games of the last six, the only loss to Buffalo)....getting the ball with the game tied with only 23 seconds left. Three plays for 48 yards for the winning FG with only 2 sec. on the clock.
