    Maybe They don’t Need to Play This Game!

    Tell me we’re my math is wrong.

    I say they will wait for the results of next weeks games.

    If the Bills beat NE

    The Chiefs loose

    And the Bengals loose am I right that this game doesn’t matter and they don’t need to play this game?

    The benefit of waiting is the players get the whole week to process this and it doesn’t disrupt the rest of the week.

    If either of those teams win we push the entire playoffs back one week.

    I don't see any way this game gets resumed. I think the Bills would just take the L if they have to. It will be hard enough for them to get back out there against NE on Sunday.

      That’s 3 separate outcomes in 3 separate games. If all of those things coincidently happen, then this game doesn’t matter. But that’s a hell of a gamble.

      My hope is they can stabilize him overnight, and then maybe they can play the rest of the game tomorrow. If there is no news or bad news, then I can’t see this game ever happening and the league will just have to procede as if it was never scheduled.

        i'd rather we take the L and just play it out in the playoffs. yes it's just handing HFA to the Chiefs; but i know we can go into KC and beat the chiefs.

            Yup. Take the Loss so the Bills players can go back home to their families.

            Depending on Hamlin’s outcome, this season may not mean anything to me anymore.

                    there is too much money involved for this game not to be played some way some how. there are just no winning scenario for anyone here. Hamlin just surviving is the only win at this point.

                      I think this game gets played again not Thursday but the next, all formats including on prime get to air it. It’ll be the highest watched in regular season game in history. You watch, they will figure out a way to monetize this.

                        I agree.

                        They push the playoffs back a week and get rid of the rest week between the Conference Championships and the Superbowl

                          If they play wednesday, couldnt they just flex the bills-pats game and cincis game to monday? Its no different than sunday to thursday night

                            Doubt they are playing Wednesday when most of the team flew back to Buffalo already. From what's been reported.
