    Live press conference

    From the hospital in Cincy

He’s doing well, but still in critical care.

Praise for the immediate reaction and discovery of cardiac arrest. The immediate commencement of CPR saved his life. If they had waited even a few more seconds we would have had a different outcome.

They keep saying the highly trained personnel from the Bills and the on-site first responders.

He did not speak as rumoured.
When I die, please don't let my wife sell my camera equipment for what I told her I paid for it.

Immediate bystander CPR is the difference in this story.

The doctors praise the strength of the “Buffalo Bills family” from the vigils, to the crowds outside to the amounts of food coming in for Damar’s family and the medical team.

He's not speaking, because he has a tube in still, but he's responding and asking questions via hand writing. That's a very good sign.

First thing he asked "Did we win?"

The doctor said Damar asked if they won the game. You gotta love it!

The fact he remembered he was playing in a game. Incredible news.

I can't imagine him waking up to find out:

                  1. He almost died
                  2. The game was never finished
                  3. It's 2 1/2 days later
                  4. During that time, he's been the biggest news story in the country

I mean, it's certainly better than the alternative of NOT waking up, but it must be a lot to process all at once.

Oh and millions have been raised for his $2500 charity in his name.

Wait until he finds out his charity went from a couple thousand to over 10 million dollars raised

Let him continue to heal, give the doctors the continued knowledge to discover the etiology of what happened and if its fixable, let them fix it.

And it might be just me, but considering all of the stadiums around the league lit up in Bills colors...but I think it would be a nice gesture to light up Highmark in Cinci colors as a show of gratitude. From their teams, their fans, and their entire community, they've been first rate.

I listened to the conference with the docs live. The Bills medical people understood right away what the situation was and immediately brought the medical specialists on hand to bear. I think it's fair to say they saved Damar's life. If he fully recovers, which at least point I think is likely, he can credit those heroes.

Yeah the first thing I thought. If he was coerce enough to remember he was in a game that's a very good sign.
