I'm not surprised ..... definitely the correct decision.

          I'm definitely surprised.

I think it should have been obvious that he is not in any condition to play, but they didn't do the right thing last time, and the stakes are so much higher this time.

I'm surprised they ruled him out today. I guess the media would've known anyways, based on who was practicing, but I expected a bit of gamesmanship to be honest.

Yeah, I could have figured as much when McCoachin said he was still in step 3 of 5 on Monday.

That was a giveaway ...... the correct decision all the way.

He seriously needs to be thinking about retiring.

I think the science on concussions isn't quite there yet. Like getting one makes you be in the equivalent situation of playing without a helmet for a certain period because your brain has been scrambled and it's easy to scramble it again. If Tua had played and got sacked even once it might have been career ending. Even now he should get every medical opinion he can before he starts taking hits next year. So as bad as it sucks for u good on the fins for not sending Tua out on a suicide mission.

                          Re: tua out

If they view him as their franchise guy, there was probably not enough upside to playing him. I mean even with Tua, as the lowest seed their road would go through Buffalo, then KC, then presumtively Cincy. Their defense is not good enough to get them through that. So if you don't think it's your year to make a deep playoff run, do you risk your franchise QB getting what could very well be a career-ending 4th concussion in three months?
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?

This game will never be bigger than life.

The Dolphins and whoever else was involved made the very best decision they could.

I was expecting them to annouce that he was cleared for stage 4 and would at least do non-contact practice drills today. They've still got a lot of other important players dealing with injuries too.

I just opened my sports betting apps and the line for the game has jumped to -13.0 for the Bills. I wouldn't be surprised if it's more than 2 TDs by gametime.
