Don't want to hear negativity about Edmonds

He may be one of our best players over last half of season on D

Milano is but edmunds has been great. The only argument now is the price tag. Thats where it gets tricky especially when the best LBs in the nfl usually get picked in the area well be picking
Not here to be right, just here to have interesting discussions about my impulsive opinions

He's won me over. If it doesn't break the bank.

That’s the challenge for Brandon Beane. I do not envy him, and it’s why NFL GM is a very, very difficult job.

He still can’t fill the gap and make a tackle behind or at the line of scrimmage. He overshoots all the time and gets blocked out. He’s a liability in the run game. Needless to say he generally takes bad angles for outside runs as well. He has skills in the pass game, and has the speed to offset his lack of natural reaction. However , he’s a good linebacker not great. Milano game is significantly stronger in all areas (blitz, run, coverage)

And Milano has gotten a lot better in his 2nd contract. I would have let him walk based on how he played in his first contract. I think we'll see the same with Edmunds. They should keep him if they can.

He's been consistently solid THIS season - likely due to the improved DL keeping him clean (not a knock on him... likely the reason Milano has been looking like the best LB in the league this season). Would love to keep him at a reasonable price, but I'm sure some team is going to look at this measureables and young age, and offer him top LB money.
I just dont see how we can keep him.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Edmunds with a healthy Von on the field
