Would you entertain signing him. His cap hit was 19 mil I'm not sure what he would cost us cap wise. He is 32. Diggs and Thielen would be one hell of a one two punch.

If he was cheap.

They were 4 years ago. I actually haven't watched a ton of Adam Thielan recently. Any sense whether he has something left in the tank?

Absent Beane pulling off a sneaky big trade (Hopkins, Jeudy etc), I think my favorite off-season approach would be sign someone like Thielen/Robert Woods and ALSO draft a WR on Day 1 or 2. Really think we need some explosiveness that these old retreads won't give us...but the old retreads would also provide a nice ramp for the rookie.

I thought Thielen was part of Diggs Beef with the Vikes.

Vikings release veteran receiver Adam Thielen after no agreement reached on a pay cut (https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/other/vikings-release-veteran-receiver-adam-thielen/ar-AA18tbHV)

Do we have have a thread like this whenever a good player (at least was good in the past) is released?!?!?!

The last thing in the world the Bills need is another old player, on the downside of his career that cost mucho bucks they don’t have.

His cap number for next year is $20M!!!! He’s not worth half that.

Let's offer 7 that 's less than half.

Seems like he's solidly in the "always injured" phase of his career.

Now you are just being silly. How about if he takes a puppy for a salary.

Since he was released, his cap hat next season will be whatever a team signs him to, right?

Yes.

And pass, I'd rather go with young guys and draft picks.

Although Beane does need to satisfy his annual old-FA-wide-receiver-signing kink at some point, but I hope it's not Thielen.

I'm thinking more like 2.

Marquise Goodwin, Robert Woods, Sammy Watkins all were on the market until Woods signed yesterday.

Whaley redux.

Thielen has been more than solid and doesn't get the dropsies. He has had 70 catches and 700+ yards as a #2. He's a zone killing 3rd down conversion machine. He gets open and doesn't drop the ball. Do you guys like WR's who get open and don't drop the ball?

He has to know he's not going to get paid like he was.

Watch him go to KC, light it up and then a whole bunch of people will complain about why Beane didn't get him.

Yeah, I know. The cap. Develop younger guys.

Allen (and Diggs for that matter) needs a known, reliable #2 and we don't have one on the roster. We need to find one.
