Re: Bart Scott saying Rodgers is better than Allen
I’m want to know how Green Bay is going to absorb his money? According to Spotrac, they would have almost a $31,000,000 cap hit and $99,800,000 in dead cap.Last edited by kgun12; 03-11-2023, 09:39 AM.Retired Air Traffic Controller

Re: Bart Scott saying Rodgers is better than Allen
Rodgers may have started his decline last year, which is still good QB play but not the level he has played at.
They missed the plaoffs in an ultra weak NFC. Past his prime ?Anonymity is an abused privilege, abused most by people who mistake vitriol for wisdom and cynicism for wit

apparently Buaffalo is done, Rodgers is better and it’s all over.
Bart Scott finished his career on the NY Jets and after he lost his job on CBS NFL Today in 2017 to Nate Burleson (who is a stellar TV personality), he kicked around the talking head world and got in trouble when in 2021 on ESPN’s Get Up show (I’ve never watched it) when he “seemingly advocated for the Baltimore Ravens (the team that drafted him and he payed his first six years in the league) to injure Joe Burrow in future games..."
He could only get sports radio gig on WFAN in NYC, and he said he left that job to “...be able to work my way back (on television)...” and went to ESPN New Yrok sports radio show.
Of COURSE he is going to pimp Aaron Rodgers and crap on the Bills. To not do so would mean his NYC gig will be over.
Novacane is spot on when he writes.....”It’s gonna be fun watching Jets fans hopes crushed again and the media blowhards proven wrong again.”
NYC is the biggest NFL market by quite a large margin, 33% larger than #2 LA, and well over double the size of #3 Chicago.
If Rodgers does move to the Jests, it will be GIGANTIC media circus for a team that has the longest non-playoff streak in the NFL of TWELVE YEARS, almost twice as long as the second longest streak of seven year with Denver and exactly twice as long as Detroit.
It will be fun watching the Jets fall short again (although with Rodgers they will have a good chance of beating out Miami for a playoff spot), and Josh Allen lead the Bills to their 4th straight AFCE title.

Allen screwed the pooch a few times that cost the Bills each of their losses in 2022, but RODGERS is the one that had a fairly terrible season in 2022.
According the ESPN’s very credible Total QBR, Josh Allen was ranked #2 last year (correctly behind only Mahomes) and Rodgers was mired in (correctly) #26, ahead of only Russel Wilson, Mac Jones, Davis Mills, Carson Wentz and Baker Mayfield.

Until Allen wins the SB, he's not as good as Rodgers. If we're talking the next season, Rodgers is still better.Lou Saban: You can get it done, you can get it done. And what’s more, you’ve gotta get it done.
