Buffalo Bills hosted OG David Edwards, per report - Buffalo Rumblings (https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2023/3/21/23651127/buffalo-bills-hosted-og-david-edwards-per-report-los-angeles-rams-nfl-free-agency)

The Buffalo Bills (https://www.buffalorumblings.com/) and general manager Brandon Beane continue making moves in free agency, nearly a week into the signing period. Late in the evening on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson tweeted that the Bills were hosting free-agent offensive lineman David Edwards for a visit, a day after his 26th birthday.

What is it with the Bills attraction to linemen with concussions?

“Wherever Edwards plays next, he’ll bring potential health concerns due to a history of concussions that caused him to miss all but four games during the 2022 season.”

Morse wasn't cheap, but the rest of them have been. You take your chances when you buy stuff from the Salvation Army or Goodwill.

Prior to those concussions he was ok I take it.

Still I'm beginning to wonder about our interest.

Is he now clear?

And if so how?

I hope we leave this guy alone.

Question seems to be will he ever play again?

C'mon Beane.

This one seems risky.

He pondered retirement .... not really reassuring.

Pretty risky, but that's the world this team lives in now.

Yep. Clearly creating a list of folks to battle it out at certain spots.

Looking more and more like MLB will be the pick with their first round pick.

LOL.

Edwards played QB in high school.

Was having a nice career, prior to his concussion issues, he probably would have been way to expensive forthe Bills. If his head is okay, could be a good pick up, but it's a big IF!

Risky for him, sure. Where's the risk for the Bills on a 1 yr contract?

I was taking about the risk to him.

Brutal game. Lot of players are making decisions they will one day regret. Or their families will.

Mmph.

Sure you need 90....but you kind of want your best 90 with minimal risks to work with.

We need a little "Wind of Change"

Winters...Long....Spain....Ducasse....Ford....Hart...Feliciano...Saffold...Van Roten....Quessenberry....Williams...in years to protect your franchise gem.....not acceptable no matter how many bodies you need. They still have 1 tackle....1 guard.....and an aging center to plant in front of all we have to hope for. It aggravates.

Come on. Beane said last year it was a goal. Guess what..that was a year ago.

He seems to think if he just tells Josh not to take so many hits that will happen. How has that been working?

Gonna come up short soon. It's inevitable.
