Re: Best available players for Rounds 4-7
Its sleeper pick time.
Throwing out some names:
-Karl Brooks DT/DE Bowling Green. He lined up everywhere at Bowling Green, most likely a 3 tech here. Outstanding career at a small school, showed up at the Senior Bowl and was beating his man as much, if not more than any interior DT on the field.
-Chase Brown RB Illinois. 1600 yards last year and also caught 27 passes. Ran a 4.4 40. Workhorse type back
-DeWayne McBride RB UAB. small school fire plug who was 2nd team all American. Some speed, can break tackles.
-Cory Trice CB Purdue. big for a CB at 6'3" 210 lbs. possible move to safety. If not, you can use him as a big nickel, or in press coverage, where he thrives.
-Jason Taylor II S Oklahoma St. ball hawk safety, had 6 ints last season, Strong, among the leaders in tackles in the nation last year for DBs.
-Trey Palmer WR Nebraska. Fastest 40 among wrs at the Combine, a 4.33 or something. Beane said he wants to be able to have that quick scoring ability. He's worth a shot.
-Andre Iosivas- WR Princeton. track athlete, 6'2" over 200 lbs, ran a 4.4 40. See Trey Palmer above for how he could fit.
