    The AFC...

Does anyone else feel like the AFC is going to be a dogfight every damn week?

I mean, with the Rogers defection, it seems to me the AFC has all the QBs, and all the best teams.

The East now has four good teams, solid top to bottom.

The North has Cinci, Pitt (the team I believe nobody should sleep on) the Ravens, and even the Browns who are a solid team.

The West is KC, and two teams that look great but love to break your heart, LA and LV. Even Denver should be better under Sean.

The South may be the worst AFC division, but the Jags and Titans are usually solid.

    That's 13 contenders IMO.

    The NFC has what?

Minnesota in the north, SF in the west, maybe Seattle, Philly and Dallas in the east, and maybe the Giants. The south is a disaster.

JMO but....I think there may be an AFC team that wins 10 or 11 games and does not make the playoffs.

In the NFC, you may again have division winners with 8, 9, or 10 wins.

I'm curious to know everyone's thoughts on this.

Pretty good analysis except I don't think NE is a solid team top to bottom. I expect them to be a .500 team at best. The genius of BB has been greatly exaggerated. Whats his record without Brady?

The AFC has all the QB's.

To win the AFC is like running the gauntlet.

I see that being the case for the foreseeable future.

The NFC it's Eagles and maybe the 49er's

Yeah, it's going to be competitive all year long. If Buffalo were in the NFC I'd feel pretty confident they have a legit shot at a conference championship and one of the heavy, heavy favorites. I'm not even sure they can make the playoffs this year in the AFC.

13 seconds. That should have been our year. With the strength of the conf, Josh will never have a path that easy ever again.

While every team is one qb injury from their season ending , some of them at least have a running game outside of their qb. We don't have anyone proven on our roster than can carry the load. RB by committee is getting old.

The game evolves. It used to be that the best teams had a feature back that would get 25 touches a game. But, their careers were short and they’d break down over the course of a season. As the league became more pass-happy, dominant backs became less critical and the “running back by committee” approach became the norm.

Now, though, the league is so pass happy that a feature back isn’t going to get more than 15 touches a game. It becomes a huge advantage when a team has a back like Henry to compliment the passing game. Josh has never had that.

Saves with no jaw breaking contracts.

                    It's a game of specialists.

Agreed. Just stating we have nothing outside of Josh in the passing game and no running game to fall back on like the giants or other teams do.

Exactly and with the addition of Kincaid our Red Zone offense should be much better.
