Speedy Neal, a former American professional football running back who played in the National Football League for the Buffalo Bills in 1984 passed away after a battle with cancer on April 23rd at the age of 60. The information came from several family members through social media posts. After a successful career at the University of Miami, where he was part of Miami's first national championship team, and accounting for 17 TD's with rushing and receiving yardage totaling 1767 yards, he was drafted by the Bills in the 3rd round of the 1984 NFL Draft. Neal appeared in a total of 12 career games for the Bills in 1984.
