So this is how you made draft day trade?

There is quite a bit of content there. The most interesting one to me is the trade on day 1. Everyone would figure that the Bills can make a deal with the Giants. But in this case, Schoen backed out because he's afraid a run on CBs. Then Baakle (Jags GM) was nervous because he's afraid the Bills could take his tackle. So he wanted Beane to tell him who he's after.
Baakle: "Offense or Defense?"
Beane: "Offense"
Baakle: "You gotta tell me more, big or small?"
Beane: "medium"
Baakle: "you are taking a TE?"
Beane: "Yes"

And Schoen confirmed to Beane that he had to tell Baakle who they are drafting as well for the Giant/Jaguars trade.

I assume Beane can lie but obviously that will ruin the relationship with Baakle. And Beane said later too that some GMs must win the deal when they trade -- I assume on the draft pick value chart etc. Just some interesting stuff.
