Guard O’Cyrus Torrence is the first member of the Bills draft class to agree to a contract with the team.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that Torrence signed with the team on Thursday. The second-round pick will have a four-year deal with the AFC East club and the Bills now have five picks left to sign to get the whole class under contract.

Torrence transferred from Louisiana to Florida in 2022 and made the All-America team after starting 11 games at right guard.

Buffalo also drafted guard Nick Broeker in the seventh round.

Thank you Mr. Woodman. I will sleep better tonight. THIS was my guy I wanted for the Bills. Watch the run game improve over the right side.

I love the name O'Cyrus. Sounds just like Osiris but we're talking Irish instead of Egyptian. I wonder if he knows Whore'us, out onna street.

The O in his name is a family thing interestingly enough.

He could have just as easily have been named Cyrus.

Some people just like adding the O. In debate prep in 2008 Sarah Palin could not stop calling Biden "O'Biden". Her team finally gave up and at the start of the debate Palin asked Biden "is it ok if I call you Joe?" She still called him "O'Biden" once.

I just hope we're not saying "O'Cyrus" much after he whiffs on a block as in "Oh Cyrus"
