Wilson fairly good stats last season in college: 44 catches for 445 yards. Welcome.

Interesting. He was originally going to sign with the NO Saints but did not pass his physical. The Saints were going to give him a fairly large signing bonus for a UDFA. They apparently liked him quite a bit.

The read on him suggests a backup to Kincaid in the slot. Flex TE/WR. Camp gives him a shot.

Question

Knox and Oliver for Hopkins would make a ton of sense cap wise

Sign Suh, and roll into next year with this squad

Idk, player for player never happens but it would work well in a lot of aspects

If we drafted Kincaid to play a big slot and be on the field with Knox for maximum flexibility using 12 personnel why would we even consider trading Dawson?

Question

No, it would not.

Oliver is better than 36 year old Suh. He’s well past his prime and is barely hanging on within the league.

Trading Knox (this year) would be dumb as can be. Teams with elite QB’s after their rookie contract runs out that start ditching their young talent for has-beens don’t stay very good for very long.

Plus Hopkins salary makes ZERO sense for the Bills. We already have the #7th highest paid WR (AVG/Y) and no team in their right mind would have TWO WR’s that are within the top 10 paid WR’s (or for any position for that matter).

Hopkins would not bring the Bills any closer to winning a Super Bowl that is worth the overpaid status of an aging vet that is increasingly finding it more and more difficult to stay on the field. He is officially injury prone. Not worth the outsized salary, and that’s why Arizona is anxious to be rid of him.

They thought his presence on the team would lead Kyler Murray to being a better QB, but nothing will help that runt of a QB who is quickly closing in on bust territory.

Josh Allen does not need Hopkins to be an elite QB. He already is.

He needs to get his head out of his butt and stop making dumb decisions and especially STOP turning the ****ing ball over (he had the most turnovers of ANY QB in 2022, and the second most INTS since he came into the NFL, only Baker (close-to-total-bust) Mayfield was worse).

He needs to kick it up to another level come playoff time. He’s done it before (13 second game) that was ruined by questionable coaching decisions and the bad luck of losing a coin flip.

Josh has not shown that he is on the level of Mahomes (yet) who rarely makes boneheaded mistakes....the kind of mistakes that crop up WAY too many times in Allen’s game.

The Bills have made all the right moves to help Josh and the team make it over the hump...THIS YEAR.

They, as a group, need the determination and laser focus when needed the most. The determination and laser focus that was greatly hindered by the cumulation of all the strange events of last season culminating in one of their teammates literally dying on the filed.

Conjuring up unworkable, unlikely and unneeded trades and bringing old, expensive has-beens onto a roster that does not need them is counterproductive at best. Massively damaging at worst.

This would be my question as well.

Always enjoy creative scenarios though.
