Who are you most excited about

I'm not the most excited about him really, but I think Rapp is going to be the best pick-up. He'll probably see plenty of snaps this season and start in '24.

Best Offense: Damien Harris
Worst Offense: Deonte Harty (No idea why they paid him so much)

Best Defense: Leonard Floyd

Have to say Floyd. If they can't find a way to create pressure....this program is toast.

Floyd by far.

I really like all the other FA acquisition listed here, but Floyd is the best. He brings real juice to the pass rush, with more sacks in the past there years (9, 9.5 & 10) than any Bills rusher since 2019 when Jordan Phillips had 9.5.

The one FA missing from the poll is Conner McGovern. I would rank him the second best pick-up.

The Bills needed to bolster the O-line, especially on the inside (as was being talked about for quite some time here) and the Bills did exactly that with Conner.

Torrence is the other HUGE pick up, although this poll is not about draft picks, it’s with mentioning.

Who is the over 6 foot RB? Him.

okay. Gotta go Floyd being an instant pencil in at starting.

Him Von and Groot plus a stunt double is a nice rushing attack and all three listed are good against the run as well.

that’s the glamour position. Poona Ford with Oliver and Phillips/Jones is an upgraded middle.

1) Floyd

2) Rapp

3) Ford

4) Harris

5) Connor

You forgot to add “getting rid of Edmunds”. It’s addition by subtraction

 Edmunds hatred show, once again to be far, far from reality....

Just today SI published their current ranking of the top LB’s in the NFL. Guess who is in the Top 10?!?!?

Number 9

Tremaine Edmunds, Bears
Edmunds, 25, a two-time Pro Bowler, turned his best season with the Bills into a four-year, $72 million contract with the Bears this offseason. Edmunds, a 2018 first-round pick, started his career as a tackling machine, but he developed into one of the best coverage linebackers last season, receiving a 90.0 coverage grade from Pro Football Focus, the best among off-ball linebackers. After starting his career with five consecutive seasons of recording 100-plus total tackles for the Bills, Edmunds will now be looking to make plays in the middle of Matt Eberflus’s defense in Chicago.

Only the most confused, ignorant and hate filled “fan” thinks that “getting rid” of one of the 10 best LB’s in the NFL is “addition by subtraction”

Poyer. Yeah, he was a FA, so he counts.

Hobbled last year with a number of injuries foot, elbow, ribs, knee.

He has unfinished business here

I'll say Rapp, especially after last year when Hyde went down and we started giving up an uncharacteristically large number of big plays for Frazier's defense.

I could see him coming in as a 3rd safety on 3rd and long as well.

Floyd fives us insurance against Vonn but how many DEs can we field?

Von only played around 55% of the snaps, when he was off the field we didnt really have a backup so we had to have 4 down lineman. Floyd could come in for the other 45% and also we can have both on the field with some formations

That is a joke. Edmunds doesn't belong anywhere near that list.

Floyd is, clearly, the best pick-up. Forget Poyer.

It’s ok, we kept the better LB for cheaper.

Today SI published their top 10 ranking for safety...

The Top 10 Safeties in the NFL Right Now, Ranked (https://www.si.com/nfl/2023/06/08/top-10-safeties-ranked-rankings-position)

Number 9

Micah Hyde, Buffalo Bills

A fifth-round pick out of Iowa in 2013, Hyde became a do-it-all safety for the Packers throughout his rookie deal. During his four years in Green Bay, Hyde totaled eight interceptions and four sacks before signing with the Bills before the ’17 season.

In Buffalo, Hyde blossomed into a star, going to one Pro Bowl and twice being named a second-team All-Pro. Partnered with Jordan Poyer, Hyde has helped form the league’s best safety pairing over the past six seasons.

Number 8

Micah Hyde, Buffalo Bills

The Bills rely heavily on Poyer and Hyde in their scheme, utilizing the two safeties to blitz, cover and range on the back end. Poyer has excelled in all areas, totaling 24 interceptions and 11 sacks in his career.
