Seems to be a very humble guy. Obviously we know he's physically talented, but seems like he's getting there mentally as well. He admitted earlier last season, he hesitated in fighting his own instincts. But later on he started to act more on those instincts. He didn't quite say it at the end, but I like he's implying of his goal this year: dominating.

One of the McCourty brothers was on the radio the other day talking about young CB's in general. Said rarely does a CB look good as a rookie. Spot on.
Most unforgiving position in football. Elam and Bedford should be more ready this time around with an actual NFL year under their belts. We'll see.

Plus it would help if they weren't playing certain soft zone coverages. I still hope to see more man with safety help (meaning more of a pass rush) and having 3 healthy safties to start the year helps and can make that happen.

Secondary is McBeane's strength, hopefully Elam becomes a homerun as opposed to yet another middling underachiever like their linemen have been. Barring injury this could be a really good season for the d-backs.

What's the difference btw Elam and Sauce?

Sauce is younger, stronger, taller, much bigger wingspan, a lot more accomplished in college, and got all pro notes in NFL as a rookie.

Elam is a little more faster. That's it.

Drafting Josh was brilliant. He was the biggest QB risk in that draft, but he turned out to be by far the best from that class and one of the best in the league. After that, Beane and McD have not been great with the early draft picks. None of them have been complete busts but none have been worthy of where they were drafted.

He didnt have a bad rookie year at all. I saw Tre get eaten up last year and in other games fare worse than Elam did last season

Most of Elams "hate" was created by the offseason and the staff not starting him. On the field, he really wasnt bad at all
