Damn! That's a little surprising. WNSA just reported that they have reached a settlement with QB Travis Brown and now he is basically a free agent. He can go where ever he wants. Also, if he is NOT signed...the Bills can bring him back AFTER week 10. :D

The Bills today announced that the team has released linebacker Mario Haggan and that safety Lawyer Milloy has officially been added to the 53-man roster.

Milloy will wear jersey #36 while rookie cornerback Terrence McGee has switched to #24.

Also today, the team announced that quarterback Travis Brown has reached an injury settlement with the Bills. Brown had been placed on Injured Reserve on August 31 with a finger injury.

Does that mean Brown has been released?

I'm wondering if this means that they are going to bring in a new QB soon or something? hmmm...

Watch week 10 he'll come back and start take over for Drew Bledsoe take us to the playoffs then onto the Super Bowl and become the Super Bowl MVP afetr that the NFL will make an exemption and have him play in the Pro Bowl that's my scenario and I'm sticking to it....LMAO:)!

There you go Mike. Now thats a player that sucks. We've seen enough of him and hopefully not anymore.

This guy goes from being given the opportunity to unseat Van Pelt to the unemployment line! It should be fairly apparent that he sucks. I bet you any money that he will be a starter in week 1 somewhere. After all, how can you pass on T. Brown. He did break all the passing records at Northern Arizona State School of The Blind. LMAO Good riddence!

I think you guys are being a bit cruel to Travis. He came in here and tried his best to help the Bills. Just because Wys likes him doesn't mean that you should hate the guy. I still think he could be a quality backup somewhere. Travis, good luck on your recovery.

I don't mind Travis Brown and would still like to bring him back in week 10 for our 3rd string job. But for now, he has done nothing to get the backup job.

Jamie Martin was released by the Jets to avoid having to pay his base salary it would be funny to sign him and screw the Jets.

Does this mean Jason Johnson is now the 3rd string QB?

We actually don't have one...unless you call Eric Moulds the guy. Jason Johnson is on the practice squad. We're one of about 5 teams, I heard, that are carrying only 2 QBs on our Opening Day roster

Have you guys ever seen Moulds throw in practice? That guy has a laser canon for an arm.

I'm in mourning!

:D

Actually, I simply haven't been on all day. Who cares. At least Spaz has enough stones to admit what this is all about. For that I respect you Spaz! ;)

Brown's a backup. Our hopes for finding a viable replacement for Drew have just been dashed. We don't even have a third QB on our roster.

Next year, for the amount of money Drew's gonna be getting paid, most of you are gonna agree that we need to find his replacement but quick! :D

His salary only goes up 500,000...by most accounts he is a bargain amongst QBs...
