Josh Allen, the Buffalo Bills franchise quarterback, provided a moment of panic for all of Bills Mafia on Monday when he was seen being escorted through the tunnel by Bills head trainer Nate Breske.
It was reported that the quarterback was back on the field within minutes of his departure.

They are flirting with disaster.

Anytime Allen takes an awkward or ugly hit I hold my breath.

That's true to an extent but Josh Allen is about 70% of our offense.

If he were lost for the season, our Super Bowl hopes drop to near zero.

He was clearly limited by his UCL injury last season. We leaned more heavily on Singletary down the stretch. And we looked really bad in both playoff games.

We do need Allen at 100%. You'll forgive me if I get momentarily alarmed if I see him hold his knee or hold his elbow after a hit.

There is a certain baked in reality that, yes, Josh Allen is central to our team's hopes to win it all.

Yeah...I know all that and agree.

But a couple of bumps in training camp is not that “alarming”. It’s to be expected.

The freak out is not even based on having the first clue what happened. I’ll wait to freak out when there is something to freak out about.
