Makes no sense. I read there was interest. Swapping late rounders on a 2nd rounder rookie deal doesn’t seem like interest. Giants doing us a favor. Wasted pick.

            No question about it.

It was one of Beanes dumber picks.

Especially since Rousseau was his earlier pick. I love me some BBB but man he has had some head scratchers

                  The ****?

Boogie Basham provides nice depth and some upside as a pass rusher.

Trading him won't have meaningful impact on cap space. It doesn't improve the roster. On its face it's bad form to discard a 2nd rounder for a negligible late round pick.

I don't see what larger purpose is being served here.

I think it more of a "he wasn't going to make the roster" move than salary cap.

This wreaks of the Bills giving up on him and just trying to recoup some of their losses.

Still, there are holes in this roster. I’d rather see a move to try to shore up holes than to recoup peanuts.

The roster is a big jig saw puzzle. When you get down to the final 10-12 spots there are a lot of things to consider.

I agree, sort of. I mean it was a stupid pick to begin with, especially in the 2nd round. But, they weren't keeping 6 DEs, and I guess Boogie was the lowest one on the depth chart.

They better be signing or trading for an offensive Tackle very soon.

If the coaching staff is convinced he's not good enough to make the 53 man roster, Beane takes a huge L on this one.

A 2nd round DE in his third year should be a lock to make the roster.
