All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Not really a surprise. I just want him available for the playoffs.
There is no reason to rush Miller’s return.
We’ll know in a day or two, but with the trade of Basham it sure looks like the Bills are quite comfortable starting the season with four DE....Rousseau and Floyd “starters” with Epenesa and Lawson “backups” or more accurately rotational EGDE.
As I opined in another thread, this may open up LB to 6 spots instead of the usual 5. Then, when Miller is ready to come back, one of the LB’s moves to PS. Most likely AJ Klein.
Another scenario is an open spot for signing a player let go by another team.
The first time the NFL has had only one cut down day from 90 to 53. The math means (if 32 team cut from 90 to 53) 1,184 players flooding the market.

There was a thread a couple of months ago where Miller said he wanted to be back for the start of the season and the general consensus on this board is that we’d rather have him for the end of the season and playoffs.
We won games without Miller last year, including a playoff game. We can win a few games without him until he’s ready.
I still don’t think this team has the talent to get past KC or Cincy in the playoffs, but if we run into them again, our chances go up significantly if Miller is on the field

I'm excited to see what Rousseau is going to do with another year under his belt. He showed flashes last year. Floyd will also be a huge acquisition, if he can stay healthy

Hopefully. I’m sure he’ll look better once Miller returns and teams start paying more attention to him.

I hope they don't go with the rotation they did last year. I get wanting to keep guys fresh and all, but splitting all the snaps almost equally doesn't help edge guys get a feel for what the tackle is doing, IMO. I want guys like Oliver and Rousseau playing more than the backups. Otherwise what's the point?
Yes, of course! His rehab needs to be successful and he hasn't gotten to that point yet. Not being negative here just that there is always a chance he can't get back just like any player ...
