He's possibly a better depth option than Shell was, and I'm not sure I would trust him less than I trust Brown right now. That guy has trended downward since his rookie year.

Right now it's a decent signing ..... veterans can only help this line.

Sure looks like a very good depth signing.

An upgrade over Queefenberry and whoever else was behind Brown, but then again a pylon is an upgrade

Queenie was signed to to Minny’s active roster (https://nfltraderumors.co/vikings-signing-ot-david-quessenberry/).

When the scuttlebutt around the league that tackles are hard to come by....this validates it. His best days are far behind him...yet....

Idk. OTs need to eat. A lot. This Germain guy sounds like a self starter. I like it.

I think the problem could be that Ifedi hasn't played in 1 spot for too long, kept getting moved from guard to tackle and tackle back to guard, then he got hurt 1 year,, not sure what happened in Atlanta.. but if the guy will put forth the effort and want to play football I think he could become the guy at right tackle.... its all up to him. a lot of times these kids have all the talent in the world but don't have the heart for the game itself...

great players love the game and would play for peanuts, its the ones that make it a job 1st that usually don't pan out...

Average male arm length is about 29 inches. NFL players arm length are in the 30 - 34 inches. This guy, Ifedi, has an unusual 36+ inch arm length, which helped him to get drafted in the 1st round. He does not have great feet though, which is his problem, bounced around teams (in comparison, Dawkins has the Mac'n Cheese belly, maybe except for the year he worked to get the extension, but Dawkins always has surprising nimble feet to allow him getting into proper position). But the guy knows how to use his arms, and can take a couple of punches, which saved his career. Watch his film, he got his hands on opponents chest (the technical term is "inside") a lot.

I saw that. Said his arms absorb the power and neutralizes the rush. It’s not pretty but works.
