At least Beane saw the gaping holes (RT, ILB, back-up QB) and is trying to address them with duct tape and super glue. Just need an NFL caliber player to back up Josh now. Doesn’t need to be good, just needs to belong in this league

If Kirksey was willing to join our practice squad, must not have been much interest around the league. That said, I like the resume. Certainly worth a place on the PS to get him in the building.

If a former starting LB now head coach cut him from the TEXANS, it begs the question why. So why?

My guesses are:

1) He got beat out .....
2) A new direction (youth)
3) Salary cap
4) Didn't want to wait for the hammy to heal.
5) Whatever it was we benefitted so it's all good.

We signed him to our practice squad apparently and for now I'll take it.

At the least he can help mentor the young guys.

The Bills really need Bernard to step into the role. And then Williams to progress as well.

He wanted to join a winning team. He won’t be on the practice squad for long. Probably be elevated to the 53 man roster within the next few days.

I would be surprised if he's elevated the next few days. By week 1 would be pretty ambitious.
