It's that time of year. Verge of the new season.

How does everyone see the season going?

What is your prediction on the record?

How will the season end for Buffalo?

This is going to be unpopular....

But I think this is a 10-7 season.

I think they will start off well, going 7-1 or 6-2 but then hit that very challenging section that starts with Cincy and limp to the end. (i'm also leaning towards a 3-3 record in the division).

Should be enough to qualify as a wildcard, but i think they lose before reaching the AFC Championship game.

Good to finally see some realism on this site. I agree with all of you. I don’t think a Josh Allen team would go sub-.500 but I also see an 11-win ceiling due to increased competition, lackluster coaching, and a Swiss cheese OL.

I will err on the side of optimism and say 11-6

I didn't want to hedge too much, but there's always 2 games that go the opposite of what you expect. W or L. I could see 11-6 or 9-8 happening too.

I just have some nagging concerns:
1- When will Miller return and how much can we expect?
2- Can the OL hold up? Can we run the ball?
3- Can Dorsey improve his playcalling?
4- Can Tre White be elite again?
5- Has time caught up to our starting S's?
6- Can Josh cut down on his turnovers and protect himself?
7- Will McD calling the D help or hurt?
8- Is there a MLB on this team?


That's a LOT of things that need to go our way. Meanwhile, the Jets and Dolphins made big moves to improve, and our schedule is a tough one.

I think Josh is good enough to keep us above .500, and I know if things go "right" this team can contend.... but my predictions stand. They can FEEL FREE to make me eat crow though!

I don't have a feeling either way. Things could go south and they finish 3rd in the east. I do not expect that though. Until proven differently I think the Jets will find a way to be the same old Jets and Tua gets hurt again which will help us still win the division at 11-6 or even 10-7. I don't expect a deep run in the playoffs.

I already gave my early prediction after the 2023 schedule came out.....


Now that the full 2023 schedule is out, it’s time for early regular season record predictions!!!

My early prediction for the Bills 2023 regular season……

Bills lose two division games, same 4-2 record as 2022. Could even be the same way…split with Miami and Jets, sweep NE.

There is a very good chance the Bills sweep the Jets (after an emotional and huge win ruining Rodgers first game as a Jet) the Bills come up big after a short week vs Denver and shock the Jets at home in week 11. Which could result in a somewhat unexpected 5-1 AFCE record.

Lose two of the four games vs elite teams….Cincy, KC, Philly & Dallas. I don’t think the Bills lose at home vs Dallas.

The three other games are on the road which pose the biggest challenges. I suspect (but am not predicting) they get revenge on Cincy and win that game, but KC gets revenge for two straight homes loses and wins…at home….again.

The pivotal game will be @Philly. The Eagles will be on a short week, but after losing on MNF @KC, they will be stoked to beat the Bills at home.

One other loss to a team they have no business losing to. Or more likely the @Chargers in week #16, who has the next elite QB to break out, although their HC is holding the team back.

12-5 record. Win AFCE for the fourth season in a row.

Best possible could be 13-4 if they sweep the Jets.

Worst is 11-6 if they lose three games to the elite four.

Nothing has taken place for me to change that prediction.


I am going to add this prediction for the start of the season. The Bills will lose only (but not necessarily) ONE game before the showdown in Cincy week #9.

Would not surprise me one bit if they start the year 8-0. The chances go up exponentially if they win on Monday night as I suspect they will ruin Rodgers virgin game as a NY Jet.

iI remember when Brett Favre came to the Jets and they were gonna win the superbowl, I think games will be more competitive but we still win the east, I like 12-5 .....this is my homer pick, reality says 10-7...

It's hard to tell. The Bills are just so frustrating.
If you asked me before the beginning of last season, or any of the games prior to the bye, I would have said we would win every single game going forward.
If you asked me the second half of last season, I would have said struggled to make the playoffs and early exit.

With this tough schedule, and the way they've played since the 2nd half of that GB game last year, I figure 9-8 or at 10-7 at best. We struggle to make the playoffs (50/50).

I don't think they make the playoffs. I think Allen runs one too many times and it catches up. I think we learn McDermott is really that timid. And I think middle linebacker and OL porking around comes due.

We're deep into the program, it should be polished and razor sharp. I don't believe it is.

Again, will be happy to be wrong. Don't want to be right.

Another last game of the season meltdown and I think/hope you’re right on the second paragraph. Hell, I was in that camp after last season but I feel like this should be his ‘last chance.’
