2019 Texans Wild Card game -- lead of 16-0 in 2nd half, lost in OT

2020 Cardinals game -- lead of 23-9 in 2nd half, lost on Hail Mary

2020 Chiefs AFCCG -- lead of 9-0 after 1st quarter, lose by 14

2021 Steelers game -- lead of 10-0 in 2nd half, lose by 7

2021 Titans game -- up by 7 in 4th quarter, lose after giving up back-to-back scoring drives, then getting stopped on 4th-and-inches deep in Titans territory

2021 Jaguars game -- play worst team in the league who will fire their first-year coach mid-season; enter as 14.5-point favorites, lose 9-6 after shooting themselves in foot multiple times

2021 Chiefs Divisional game - 13 Seconds, no further explanation necessary.

2022 Jets game -- up 14-3 over the consensus worst quarterback of 2022, lose by three

2022 Vikings game -- build 27-10 2nd half lead, lose in OT after giving up miracle catch, fumbling snap after making game-winning defensive stop, and throwing a redzone pick when only three points were needed

2022 Dolphins Wildcard game -- build 17-0 lead, immediately sacrifice 21 unanswered points, barely pull out win - all against a 3rd stringer who had never started a game

2023 Jets game -- we all watched last night

Sorry, but doesn't this just seem like a TON of choke-jobs for one coaching staff/QB/defensive combo over only four seasons? How the hell are they going to improve this? The HC/OC have no feel for the flow of the game; the defense always gives up scores at the worst possible times; and the all-star QB is reckless as ****. Really seems like an unfixable situation, as it stands.

there doesn't seem to be a killer instinct

it's the 'lets take a lead and hang on for dear life' mentality

I think other fan bases have their own lists very similar to this. It all comes down to just being hot in the playoffs. Or in kc’s case, getting ref assistance at the most critical times in big games.

I would argue that very few teams in sports routinely snatch defeat from the jaws of victory the way the Bills do.

We have 22 total losses over the past four seasons, and half of them (11) are the games listed above, where they did everything possible to blow it. That's a big issue, and you can't win a Super Bowl with that kind of meltdown ratio.

I only needed 2 seasons of the "learning and growth" lip speak while they turn around and do the same thing over and over again then give up the same lip speak. It gets old and stale after only a few games of that ****. Meaningless wishy washy gaslighting bull**** is all it has been. These guys are competent in some ways but like to cut their own throats as well ...

That’s why we all have PTSD.
