Not a bad thought. The defense seems to be in sync and he should be sure that he is sure that he is sure....
BUT
He needs like 4 of 5 snap to just get acclimated..increase game by game...Hated by the stupid..

No earlier than the Bengals game. Yeah, an injury can happen at any time but the chances of such an injury increase exponentially with another 4-5 games played before the really important games.
We don't need him for the scrubby opponents. Let the D-Line continue to gel and grow, and the young guys (including the perenially disappointing Epenesa) get their reps. They have all improved individually and as a unit, so let them build confidence for when we may need them later.

I’d let him get his first snaps on SNF at home next weekend. Limit to 7-10 plays and increase his workload as the season progresses.
