Bears trade Chase Claypool to Dolphins

The highly disappointing Chase Claypool era in Chicago is over.

The Bears are trading Claypool to the Dolphins, according to multiple reports. The Dolphins are sending a 2025 sixth-round pick to the Bears, and the Bears are sending Claypool and a 2025 seventh-round pick back to Miami.

A wide receiver who showed promise early in his career with the Steelers, Claypool arrived in Chicago last year in a trade that saw the Steelers receive the 32nd overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft. That trade proved to be a steal for the Steelers and a disaster for the Bears.

He has worn out his welcome on TWO teams now.

Chicago needs all the help they can get on offense....yet....he was not worth the babysitting they had to do. He has trouble written all over him.

I hope he is a big pain in the ass in the locker room for the Fins

He was so good at ND. i was hoping the Bills would draft him but I believe that was the same year we traded for Diggs.

even though he's been a headache, it's not a good thing that Miami has another weapon.

As a high draft pick he has already ran himself out of two teams in only three years. He’s probably who he’s telling everyone he is. Good thing Miami didn’t listen.

Being “good" at college ball does not necessarily mean being good in the NFL. Pittsburgh, who really need good WR's gave up on him and were happy they fleeced Chicago for a second round pick. He sucked in Chi.

It does not matter one bit that "Miami (maybe) has another weapon.” They can have him.

Maybe you have a soft place in the your heart because he was on crappy ND. (I have no idea if ND sucks or not )
