Bills put Damien Harris on IR, sign Ty Johnson to active roster

The Bills announced that they have placed Harris on injured reserve. Harris was taken to the hospital after being injured against the Giants and he was released the next day.

Harris signed with the Bills this offseason and ran 23 times for 94 yards and a touchdown in the first six games of the season.

The Bills filled his spot in the running back room by signing Ty Johnson off the practice squad. Johnson spent the last two-plus seasons with the Jets and ran 145 times for 652 yards and four touchdowns.

Sucks that Harris goes to IR but he seemed to have injury issues during his Pats stint.

Would have preferred to add Fournette. Maybe his demands weren't palatable.

Adams salary becomes unbearable in '24. They would have to cut him loose as soon as their season is over. Plus the Raiders would have to have the cap room this year to absorb a $40mil-plus hit in dead money, when they have about $10mil of space.

Hopkins is realistic from a financial standpoint.

I agree. I’m guessing he wanted to much $$ or something dumb like 3 years

Or he wasn't in very good shape .... always a possibility.

It would be a smart move by the Titans to dump his ass asap.

They really lost the best WR they ever had when they failed to pay A.J.Brown.

Ty Johnson has kind of ordinary yards per carry as a pro, but he has very nice measurables. He ran a 4.4 40 at his pro day, which is comparable to 190 lb James Cook. Johnson, however carries 210 lbs. the same as Harris. Johnson, in fact is a similar style runner to Harris - one cut and go. If he's got a hole, he has the potential to gain chunk yardage, but probably won't make a lot of people miss.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

If he's a no nonsense runner I like him already.
