    Serious Question: The Hamilin Incident.

In all fairness, Josh, and the entire team, haven't looked very good since they saw Damar Hamlin need to be resuscitated on the field in Cincinnati.

As an athlete, in a violent sport, I really don't know what that does to your psyche, especially as the injuries begin to pile up seemingly every week.

I mean, all of these guys have families, and a good portion have wives and children.

I have to wonder if What if that was me? is going through their minds.

We all know these guys are jet-set millionaires and celebrities, but just seems they have been playing scared ever since that night.

Perhaps it's time to bring in some trauma specialists to help them work through it?.

Should have been done last season immediately after the incident, pretty sure I remember comments that it was.

We've seen the team play with purpose since Hamlin got hurt, I don't think that is the issue.

Dorsey and McDermott have tinkered with Josh and the offense so much they've gone to the other side of the spectrum, and the team has always lacked the humble and hungry that they preach on a regular basis. The first can be an easy fix, the second not so much.

I'd be surprised if that was the problem. I agree with YR. I think they overhauled an engine that needed a tune up. And Mcd is all talk no proof.

I thought they brought in specialist last year after the shooting in the offseason. I would be rather shocked if they didn’t have them on-site for the team currently.

That being said watching Harris get carted off in an ambulance likely invoked some memories to that night.

Sometimes talking to a specialist or whatever you want to call them isn't enough. Sometimes it just messes you up big time.

Is that the case with this team? Who knows. I am starting to wonder if McDermott has lost the locker room.

Yes, they brought in specialists after the incident, but what about the long term effects?

Especially after seeing teammates go down with catastrophic injuries, week after week.

I don't think it's their only issue, but I do think it is still having a negative effect.

The incident didn't have a positive effect. Couldn't of had.

Honestly, the best thing for the team would have been to cut Hamlin this year and move on.

Offense hasnt been the same since JA17 got that bartender pregnant and his girlfriend broke up with him. He is Rick Vaughn in major league 2. He loves being a celebrity more than being QB1.

I hate to say it, because I truly believe he's the most gifted QB I've seen in my 39 years on earth, but I get the feeling that Allen doesn't particularly like football that much. I can't blame him, everything outside of playing the actual games is miserable, starting as early as high school.

Handsome injury settlement has been due for quite awhile now.

Almost hate seeing on the field ..... can't get what happened to him out of my mind and none of us should.
