That team is in for a long year. They couldn't move the ball on the Redskin defense, how are they gonna move it on the AFCE defenses. They do have a pretty good defense though. They will be in a lot of low scoring games if that "d" can hold up.

yeah, Vin looked old. To his credit, however, he did throw a very nice TD pass, which was flat out dropped in the back of the End Zone. His receivers weren't exactly doing a bang-up job of getting open at the first down markers, either (although some of this was coming back to catch Vinnie's short balls). Hand down, the former Jets outplayed the current Jets. Coles had one heck of a game. Hall's 50 yarder must have hurt a bit, too.

They will win some games with a solid defence, but they will not be returning to the playoffs.

I try hard not to be a biased fan (except when the #%^$ing block head Jets fans start talking), and I think the Jets have a nice young line with talent and will be a team to fear for many years.

Yeah, I just don't hate the Jets like I do the Fish (and now, also the Pats). I don't see them as a much of a threat this year at all with their decimated roster. I think Herm Edwards is a superb head coach, and I respect him a lot, but I don't think they are going to be very good this year.

The D does look good but Vinnie needs about a qt. of Pennzoil to get rid of the rust. How many 3rd and whatever’s can you have where you throw the ball 2 to 5 yards too short.

Coles is a monster and the Jets should have spent the money to keep him.

Ramsey has a cannon man! He will be a very good QB for them. I think Dan Snyder has more money than brains and needs to get rid of that idiot coach. The Skins won despite him not because of him. He was an incredible college coach but heck so was Coach Mac from SU (a personal friend). Coach Mac and Spurier just are not NFL material.
